Located at the core intersection of Suzhou Industrial Park, Gusu District and Xiangcheng District, Yuanchuang · Mobility Hub envisions itself as a new landmark for future mobility lifestyles, striving to become a benchmark smart mobility platform serving the Yangtze River Delta region.
Invested and developed by Yuanchuang Fund, a joint venture between New Suzhou Industrial Group and Shenzhen Venture Capital Group, the project is Suzhou’s first mixed-use complex featuring an elevated auto showroom with “cars on upper floors”. Rooted in the core urban land value and industrial operational requirements, PH Alpha Design breaks away from the conventional flat layout of auto 4S stores, reimagining a brand-new scenario integrating “people, vehicles and life” through innovative design.
Responding to the irregular triangular site, the design adopts an L-shaped master plan paired with a double-ground-level vertical vehicular system. Dual vehicular ramps enable direct vehicle access to the sky showroom on the second floor, doubling the urban display frontage and significantly elevating the commercial value of the space.
Nine exhibition and sales buildings are interconnected by covered walkways and a unified metal roof, forming a meandering commercial circulation. This design effectively extends visitor dwell time and maximises the commercial performance of mixed-use programmes. Meanwhile, a clear zoning separates premium exhibition and sales in the front precinct from maintenance services at the rear, balancing high-end customer experience and efficient operations.
Drawing inspiration from the overhanging eaves of Jiangnan vernacular architecture and the texture of water-town ripples, the building facade blends contemporary technological lines with photovoltaic green design. The robust mobility-industry architecture thus embodies the gentle cultural heritage of Suzhou alongside low-carbon futuristic aesthetics.
