The project is located in Guangzhou, China.Inspired by traditional Lingnan landscape painting and grounded in the region’s distinctive topography, the design responds to the surrounding ecological context by introducing greenery into the interior, creating an “ecological window” that bridges architecture and the city.

Leveraging the site's original flood channel and its natural elevation changes, the design features a series of terraced leisure steps and pedestrian bridges that frame a vibrant waterscape, integrating plazas and water features into a multidimensional public realm. These elements are seamlessly connected to the second-floor retail and stepped terraces, enabling a multi-ground-level circulation strategy that enhances pedestrian flow and maximizes commercial value.
