The Yulong International Garment Market serves as a design exemplar for landmark architecture created by PHA. Located at the Sanyuanli Metro Station exit on Guangyuan Road, it is in close proximity to the Guangzhou Airport Expressway toll station. The project is one of the largest and most densely trafficked mid-to-high-end garment markets in Guangzhou.
Drawing inspiration from classic patterns in the fashion world, PHA identified the Houndstooth pattern as the core design element for the façade. In the selection of colors for the facade’s coated glass, PHA utilized a transparent, elegant champagne tone, while the lower level features a soft beige-colored "Clouds Chasing the Moon" stone. The use of a unified color scheme gives the overall structure a simple, graceful aesthetic—bright yet unpretentious, pure yet subtly accentuated with a sense of balanced disorder.
PHA enhances the fashion-forward appeal and regional landmark status of the building through its massing design. Within the constraints of the project’s cost framework, careful material selection was made to strike a balance between cost and effect, thereby elevating the overall quality and distinctiveness of the project.
